* Kearny, Harrison and East Newark combine the Hudson County MLS and Garden State MLS, where most homes there are listed; a home listed on both is counted once. Downtown Jersey City, Paulus Hook and Newport are one area in the MLS, so they share a card. Condo includes co-ops and condo townhouses; a type with fewer than 10 sales in the month shows the count instead of a median, and a few Garden State MLS listings with no type on file count only in All types. This is an older month, so it has no homes-for-sale or months-of-supply figures: the MLS only shows what is for sale today. The newest report has them. July 2026 counts can still rise a little as late closings are reported.

Questions people ask me

About this report

What was the median sold price in Hudson County in July 2026?

$777,500, across 412 closed sales of one- to four-family homes, condominiums and co-ops reported to the Hudson County MLS and, for Kearny, Harrison and East Newark, Garden State MLS. From June to July 2026 the monthly median ran from $747,500 to $777,500.

How fast were homes selling in July 2026?

The median home that closed in July 2026 had been on the market 17 days. It varies a lot by place: Bayonne was the fastest of the larger markets at 10 days.

What did condos and houses sell for in Hudson County in July 2026?

Median sold prices by type, county-wide: condo $754,600 (275 sales); one family $630,000 (52 sales); 2 family $870,000 (66 sales); 3–4 family $999,999 (19 sales). Where do these numbers come from?

From the Hudson County MLS, plus Garden State MLS for Kearny, Harrison and East Newark, where most homes there are listed; a home on both is counted once. I pulled them on October 30, 2026: closed sales and new listings of one-family, two-family, three- to four-family homes and condominiums/co-ops. Rentals, land and commercial property are left out. A sale is counted in the month it closed.

Sources: Hudson County MLS (RMLS) and, for Kearny, Harrison and East Newark, Garden State MLS; one- to four-family homes and condominiums/co-ops, pulled October 30, 2026. Compiled by Bogdan Nicolae Rus, REALTOR®, eXp Realty. Information deemed reliable but not guaranteed; figures can change as late sales are reported.

Newer reports: August 2026 and September 2026, which also shows homes for sale and months of supply.
