$775,000, across 291 closed sales of one- to four-family homes, condominiums and co-ops reported to the Hudson County MLS and, for Kearny, Harrison and East Newark, Garden State MLS. From July to September 2026 the monthly median ran from $775,000 to $782,500.

How fast were homes selling in September 2026?

The median home that closed in September 2026 had been on the market 22 days. It varies a lot by place: Hoboken was the fastest of the larger markets at 16 days.

What did condos and houses sell for in Hudson County in September 2026?

Median sold prices by type, county-wide: condo $697,000 (182 sales); one family $700,000 (40 sales); 2 family $815,000 (51 sales); 3–4 family $1,174,000 (18 sales). Condos include co-ops and condo townhouses. A neighborhood where most sales are condos, such as Journal Square (12 of its 20 sales), shows a lower overall median than one where most are houses.

Is Hudson County a buyer’s or a seller’s market right now?

It depends on the neighborhood. County-wide there were about 6.1 months of supply on October 16, measured against September 2026 sales; Hoboken was the tightest at 2.7 months and Downtown, Paulus Hook & Newport had the most choice at 9.1. Under about four months usually favours sellers; over six gives buyers more room to negotiate.

I pulled them on October 16, 2026: closed sales, new listings and active listings of one-family, two-family, three- to four-family homes and condominiums/co-ops. Rentals, land and commercial property are left out. A sale is counted in the month it closed.
